Our team is led by the “Purpose Squared” approach — living with purpose, and on purpose in order to gain exponential returns. This includes unearthing the true meaning tied to our experiences and making conscious, intentional choices in our lives.

Every member adheres to our guiding values, shared here.

Meet the Team

Purpose Squared is a boutique Cognitive Behavioral Therapy group practice in NYC, seeing clients in person and via telehealth.
CBT is an evidence based practice - meaning it's been rigorously evaluated and shown to make a positive, statistically significant difference in important outcomes. It is also a practice that is based on evidence - meaning, we work with our clients to recognize past evidence of progress and milestones to support them in their ongoing goals. We work with effective coping methods for anxiety, stress and overwhelm, develop new perspectives and healthy expectation-setting, address burnout, indifference or failure to thrive, encourage compassion and kindness to self, break unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior, and tackle unhelpful ways of thinking - such as "all or nothing" thinking, personalizing, minimizing and catastrophizing.

Our therapists balance our CBT principals with the use of Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered approaches, and an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as a tool for support and growth.
